Links to documents such as the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use inside the App open our self-hosted website in the system default browser. Those websites, not the App itself, may use cookies to improve the browsing experience. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings. This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, and we recommend that you review their privacy policies.

Currently, we only use Tencent Foxmail as our email receiving service. They process your information only under our instructions and in accordance with this Policy.

The specific third-party service provider is listed below:

We require companies, organizations, and individuals with whom we share user information to comply with strict confidentiality obligations and to process user information according to our instructions, this Privacy Policy, and other relevant confidentiality and security measures.

(2) Transfer

We do not transfer your user information to any company, organization, or individual, except in the following cases:

1. Transfer with explicit consent;

2. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation involving the transfer of user information, we will require the new holder of your user information to continue to be bound by this Privacy Policy; otherwise, we will require that company or organization to seek your consent again.

5. Information disclosed to the public by you;
6. Information collected from lawfully publicly disclosed information.

4. How we protect your user information

(1) We use security measures that meet industry standards to protect the user information you provide and to prevent unauthorized access, public disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss. For example, data transmitted when you send feedback is protected by standard email encryption protocols (such as TLS/SSL); we use encryption technology to protect confidentiality; and we restrict access to ensure that only authorized personnel can handle user inquiries.

(2) We retain your user information only for the period necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

(3) The internet is not an absolutely secure environment. We strongly recommend that you do not send user information through unencrypted methods such as email or instant messaging.

(4) In the unfortunate event of a user information security incident, we will notify you as required by laws and regulations and report the handling of the incident to regulatory authorities as required.

5. Your rights

Under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA, you may have the following rights regarding your user information:

(1) Access your user information

You have the right to access your user information. You can exercise this right as follows:

(2) Correct your user information

If you find that user information we process about you is incorrect, you have the right to request correction. You may contact us as described in Section 9.

(3) Delete your user information

You may request deletion of user information in the following circumstances:

1. If our processing of user information violates laws or regulations;
2. If we collect or use your user information without your consent;
3. If you no longer use our products or services;
4. If we no longer provide products or services to you.

You can exercise deletion rights locally by moving the App to the Trash and clearing the relevant local cache data. For server-side stored records, such as historical feedback emails, please contact us.

(4) Change the scope of your consent

You may withdraw your consent at any time. For example, you can stop using the App by uninstalling it, meaning moving it to the Trash. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing based on consent before the withdrawal.

(5) Account cancellation

The App currently does not require account registration. Therefore, there is no account cancellation process. You can stop using the App by moving it to the Trash.

(6) Obtain a copy of user information

All usage data generated by the App, such as work duration and check-in records, is stored only on your own device and is not uploaded to our servers. Therefore, we cannot directly provide you with a copy of that data. You can view it in the App's Statistics window. If you need to know where the data is stored on your device so that you can copy or back it up yourself, please contact us and we will inform you of the local database or configuration file path.

(7) Restrict automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making mechanisms to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

(8) Responding to your requests

To protect security, we may first ask you to verify your identity. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may submit a complaint by emailing mobi.morefun@foxmail.com.

We may refuse requests that are groundlessly repetitive or require excessive technical effort. Refusal may also apply where permitted by law.

6. How we process children's personal information

Our products and services are primarily intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Anyone under the age of 14 is treated as a child, but please note that in some jurisdictions, such as EU member states, applicable law may require a higher minimum age for parental or guardian consent, such as 16. For users in those regions, we will follow the local legal definition of a child.

If we discover that we have collected a child's personal information without parental or guardian consent, we will try to delete it as soon as possible. If you become aware of such a situation, please contact us promptly.

7. How your user information is stored and transferred globally

SitLess is primarily a locally running desktop app. Except for the following cases, we do not upload or store any of your user information on our servers:

Other than the above, all of your usage data, including work duration, check-in records, exercise logs, and custom break content, is stored only in the local app database or configuration files on your own device. We do not access, copy, or remotely read this data.

Because we do not actively collect or store users' personal data, except for optional feedback email information, there is no active cross-border transfer of data by us.

8. How this Policy is updated

Our Privacy Policy may change. Without your explicit consent, we will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy. We will post any changes to this Policy on this page. For material changes, we will provide more prominent notice, such as an in-app pop-up.

Material changes include, but are not limited to, major changes to service models, ownership structure, information sharing recipients, or your rights to participate in information processing.
